CNN to Quit Russia: US news giant will end broadcasting in Russia over Putin new media law

CNN International will no longer be broadcast on Russian cable channels and satellite as of next year, according to a written statement from Time Warner’s Turner Broadcasting division.
This comes following a new law in Russia which limits foreign ownership of media. However the network’s Moscow bureau will remain open.
